Bidding values are determined by points rather than tricks, with bids reflecting a greater number of points trumping those with fewer (ignoring doubles). For example, 3 Spades (27 points) prevails over 4 Clubs (24 points).

In Auction Bridge & IB, each trick beyond six contributes to the score following this point distribution:

• Notrumps: 10 points
• Spades: 9 points
• Hearts: 8 points
• Diamonds: 7 points
• Clubs: 6 points

The winning threshold is set at 30 points to achieve Game.
